We celebrate, Lord, the memorial of the passion of your Son as he has commanded us;
That night during which he was betrayed,
he took bread in his pure and holy hands,
and raised his eyes toward heaven to his glorious Father;
and blessed † † † , and broke and gave to his disciples and said:
this is my body, which for you is being broken for the forgiveness of sins.
Take and eat from it, all of you.

AAMEN

And likewise also over the chalice, thanked and blessed † † † , and gave to them and said:
This is my blood of the new covenant,
which for many is being shed for the forgiveness of sins.
Take and drink from it, all of you.
Whenever you gather together in my name, do in memory which I have done.
